Our Founder, Akshay Verma, is very passionate about everything he does. He has been playing tennis for 11 years but also does statistics for football and basketball at Los Alamitos High School. He is a straight - A Sophomore student who starts at JV Singles 1 but has shown time and time again his ability to play high-level matches and win against those on varsity.

An intellectual thinker, Derek Vo is a great pick to manage the equipment. He is familiar more than many others with how tennis works going all the way down to the tension and gut of each string he plays with. Derek is an amazing sophomore student inside the classroom and an even better tennis player, starting up to Singles 1 on Varsity.

He not only knows the ins and outs but knows how to save and invest as well. He is a fantastic junior student who has catapulted his game in the last year to start on Varsity Singles 2.

A bashful and intelligent young man, Elijah La has grown into a large part of what being a part of Griffin Tennis entails. Elijah came into freshman year as an unchallenged prospect but has settled into his role in the classroom and out of it as well. He currently is an all-honors student who starts JV Singles 2 but has shown the power to be able to compete at the varsity level.
